At the beginning of each academic year, an orientation programme is held for the newly admitted first semester students of the college.

Introduction: The students are introduced to the college authorities and the teaching and non-teaching staff; they are apprised of the rules and regulations of the college and the University and they are informed of the various events and programmes organised by the college and encouraged to participate in it. Their doubts and queries are also resolved during this interactive session.

Pandemic Situation: Due to the on-going pandemic, the orientation programme of 2020 was held virtually on Google Meet. All the administrative staff and faculty members, along with the students were present in this fruitful discussion.
