Anti-Ragging Sub-committee
What Constitutes Ragging
Ragging means Display of noisy, Disorderly Conduct, Doing any act which causes or is likely to cause physical or physiological harm or raise apprehension on fear or shame or Embarrassment to a student in any educational institution. Thus ragging includes,
-
Teasing, Abusing or Playing practical jokes on or causing hurt to a student (or)

Asking the student to do any act or perform something which a student will not carry out in the ordinary courses, willingly.
Ragging Punishments
Ragging is totally prohibited in the institution, and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging, whether actively or passively, or being a part of a conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished. The institution may, depending on the nature and gravity of the guilt established by the Anti-Ragging Cell, award, to those found guilty, one or more of the following punishments, like imprisonment, dismissal from the educational Institution, shall not be admitted in any other educational Institution etc.
