Following the dissolution of all pre-existing Governing Bodies of Govt.-aided Colleges in West Bengal vide memo no. 725-EH/O/CS/4C-06/2026, dated 22.05.2026, Mr Sudip Das has been nominated as the President of the Governing Body of Swarnamoyee Jogendranath Mahavidyalaya by the Department of Higher Education with effect from 21.08.2026, vide a Notification to all Govt.-aided colleges, bearing memo. No. 987-HED-17014 (99)/174/2026-CS SEC Dept of HE, in place of the administrator appointed earlier vide memo no. 914-HED-17014 999)/174/2026-CS SEC-Dept. of HE.
